Booking with Great Pelican Safari
To complete your booking with Great Pelican Safari please make sure you have the correct names of all the participants and for tours and safaris, we will require the participants full name, nationality, full address and flight arrivals details. Up on confirmation, we will hold your booking for 7 days from the time we have confirmed a tour, before the cancellation rules apply. If you need longer time please let us know. If a tour or hotel is fully booked we will try to offer you a similar option or we reserve the right to re-route the Itinerary without no loss on activities.

Prices
All the prices are US$ and Euro€ based on costs at the time. We reserve the right to change the prices at any time before your booking is confirmed. If there is any changes we will confirm to you In writing together with our confirmation of your booking.

Payment
Great Pelican Safari requires a deposit of 25% to be paid latest 5 days after our confirmation of booking. The remaining amount must be paid latest 45 days before commencement of our tours and Safari. We accept all the payment can be paid by direct bank transfer or Cash on arrival. If payments have not been received in time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking without notice. Transfer fees are to be paid by the client.

Liability
Each package requires the organization of transport, meals, Park entrance fees, accommodation and or other facilities or services. Great Pelican Safaris has no direct day to day control over its suppliers lodges, Camps, Beach Resort, International or Domestic Airline, Park wardens. Also Great Pelican Safaris accepts no responsibility for any kind of loss, injury, damage, accident, delay, irregularity and or inconvenience which may be occasioned by any defect in any object including a vehicle or local internal charter flight utilized by any supplier for the supply of any service or by an act or omission of any supplier or its servants or agents. Great Pelican Safaris shall not be liable for any loss or expense arising from the loss of property, cancellation or limitation of the tour however caused, save only to the extent that such loss of baggage, cancellation or limitation was caused by the company’s negligence. If Vehicle breakdown, sickness, death or accident interrupts a tour, Great Pelican Safari shall not be liable for any cost or expense arising there from,

Cancellation policy and fee
In case of Safari cancellation, more than 46 days before arrival 50% of total costs. 35 days before arrival 75 % of total costs. 35 days or less before arrival: 100 % of total costs or No Show. In any case all cancellation refund will apply with US$100.00 per person administration charges will be deducted. In some cases more strict cancellation rules apply and in some cases like bookings of hotels and transfers only, we will be able to refund. you more depending on our direct costs involved. Visa
It’s the clients’ own responsibility to obtain a visa for Tanzania upon visit.

Travelling with children
Great Pelican Safari welcomes families travelling with their children as we love children and have well trained driver guides who know how to take care of children all the time of their stay in safari, however its entire parents responsibility to take care of their children and well being.

Force Majeurs
Force Majeure means those circumstances on which our performance with you is prevented or affected by reasons of war, threat of war, civil strife, requisition industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions, government actions, explosions, floods, tempests, fires, accidents, sabotage, insurrection, sickness, quarantine, save only to the extent that such Vehicle breakdown, sickness or accident was caused by Great Pelican Safaris willful act or gross negligence. And shall not be liable for any refund or compensation, either total or partial, of passage money paid. We recommend that the client advise passengers to take out necessary Comprehensive Travel insurance to protect the passengers against such events. If you wish to make any claims we need to receive customers claim in writing within 21 days after the end of our services under the contract. Please note our responsibilities and obligations apply only in respect of those services, which we agree to arrange or provide on your behalf. We cannot accept any liability for any services which you arrange on your own.
